Our Story
A legacy built on the water.
For over two decades, the team behind 3C Marine has lived the yachting world from every angle, as captains, brokers, and owners. That depth of understanding shapes how we work today: hands-on, personal, and committed to our clients.
Our story didn't begin with a business plan. It began with a boat. Years ago in Sydney, founder Richard Gazal went searching for the perfect chase boat. Performance, design, quality and character. Nothing on the market captured it, until he discovered SACS. Drawn to its Italian craftsmanship, ride quality and engineering, he faced just one obstacle: SACS wasn't available in Australia. Rather than compromise, he brought the brand to the market himself and 3C Marine Group was born.
When Richard later moved to Monaco, the story continued, bringing SACS and, later, Pirelli Speedboats to one of the world's most iconic yachting destinations. It was here that he met Ewan Grocott, a passionate and highly capable yacht captain whose feel for life on the water, and for a great boat, matched Richard's own. A shared enthusiasm soon became a shared venture, and Ewan came aboard as a partner in the business, helping shape 3C Marine Group's presence on the Côte d'Azur.
Today, 3C Marine Group bridges Sydney and Monaco, united by one philosophy: performance, design and uncompromising quality on the water.
